With the semester slowing down and cold weather kicking in, I figured I should take a break from the studies and head up north last weekend! It was a foggy day with on and off rainfall, but made for a great morning hike with the pup. I was clued in about one of the best local hikes in Coeur d’Alene by a friend and tried it out. It was super well maintained (shoutout to BLM) and not crowded at all. If it weren’t for the fog, there would be a gorgeous view of the lake. Gonna have to check it out in clearer weather one of these days!
Directions: Heading N form Moscow, ID on Hwy 95 drive 84 miles until Lincoln Way. Turn left. Merge onto I-90 towards Kellogg and take exit 22 towards Harrison. Turn right onto Hwy 97 towards St. Maries. The parking lot is on the left hand side facing the lake.
Check out some of these foggy pictures! I am planning on camping/ hiking in the area this coming weekend so (if weather permits) stay tuned for some more exploration of CDA!
Much Love,
Liv
